Jason Cohen, Director of Business Development / Associate Counsel
Bringing a sharp legal mind and strong business acumen from his time working in the National Football League, Jason Cohen was named Associate Counsel and Director of Business Development on May 27, 2008.
Cohen spent the past two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings as Associate Counsel in Legal and Business Affairs.
Cohen worked on sales and marketing agreements, NFL legal and HR issues, corporate governance, worker's compensation and risk management issues.
With the Vikings, Cohen supported player development and the Vikings Children's Fund as well.
Prior to Minnesota, Cohen worked for Right To Play, an international sports non-profit organization.
With Right To Play, Cohen was based in Zambia, Africa.
There he was responsible for operations in several Refugee Camps with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
Cohen has also spent time interning with the Oakland Raiders and WFAN Sports Radio 66 in New York City.
A native of Livingston, N.J., Cohen received his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law in 2006.
While at Rutgers, Cohen clerked with New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Virginia Long.
Cohen earned his Bachelor of Arts cum laude as a double major in History and American Studies from Brandeis University in 2002.
Cohen is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars, and currently resides in San Francisco.
