Lee Coates - General Superintendent

Lee grew up in Ontario and received his BA Sc.From U of T. He completed his Carpenter apprenticeship in Calgary in 1977 (top apprentice in Alberta).After years with Artek Contracting, he joined Avion as a Project Superintendent. and became a partner in Avion in 1987.Lee currently oversees Avion's safety program, mentors other superintendents as well as Superintendent duties.He has been responsible for a wide range of commercial projects in Calgary and Southern Alberta including Westwinds Commercial, Douglasdale Automotive Centre, Okotoks Community Savings, Kensington Commercial/Residential as well as many restaurant projects.Mr. Coates has a major influence in maintaining the company's standards of performance and workmanship on all projects.
