Omnicell Appoints Michael Cline Vice President, Service
PALO ALTO, Calif. -- August 4, 2003 -- Michael Cline has been appointed to the position of vice president, service for Omnicell, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMCL), a leading provider of patient safety solutions for healthcare.
In this position, Cline will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's service organization, including Omnicell's Technical Support Desk and on-site service program.

Prior to joining Omnicell, Cline was vice president, world services for Siemens Medical Solutions, a manufacturer of diagnostic imaging systems and related services.In this capacity, he held worldwide responsibility for service marketing, field engineering, product design, logistics, customer satisfaction, technical and applications support, remote serviceability, documentation and parts repair.
From 2000 to 2001, Cline was vice president, manufacturing for Aksys Ltd., where he led commercialization of the company's home healthcare technology.
From 1995 to 2000, he served as vice president of operations, Baxter Healthcare/Automed Technologies, a provider of automated IT-based solutions to healthcare markets worldwide.Reporting to the president, Cline was responsible for operations, field consulting, systems implementation, manufacturing, technical support, global logistics, inventory, quality assurance and customer training.
Prior to joining Baxter Healthcare/Automed Technologies, Cline served as vice president for the Imaging Systems division of Becton Dickinson, and district manager for Mediq, Inc., a provider of diagnostic imaging systems.
Cline holds a bachelor of science degree in electronics engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from Loyola University, and a masters degree in information technology from Roosevelt University.
