    Mr. Cline was founder and President of The Cline Co., established in 1948.He was a member of Earle Street Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and in other capacities, and was a member of the William Wallace Bible Class, the Exchange Club and Gideon's International North Camp.He served on the Advisory Board of Carolina First, BB&T and North Greenville College.He was also a member of the Commerce Club, Green Valley Country Club and The Poinsett Club.He helped organize and establish several associations through his philanthropic gifts.

    He is survived by his wife, Martha Anne Martin Cline, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nesbitt Querry and Joyce White Cline Jr., and David Martin and Julie Burts Cline, both of Greenville; four grandsons, Glenn Martin Cline, Scott Nesbitt Cline, David Martin Cline Jr. and Wade Spencer Cline; two great-grandchildren, William David Cline and Graham Nesbitt Cline; and several nieces and nephews.

    Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Earle Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. James Wooten, the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Epting, the Rev. David Cline Jr. and Mr. Don Kirkland officiating.Interment for the family will be at Springwood Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gideon's International North Camp, P.O. Box 771, Greenville, SC 29602; or to the charity of one's choice. - The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.
