Myrtle Dean Clay, age 69, was called home to rest on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006.She was under the leadership of The First Baptist Church of Lockhart, Texas. Her dearest family and friends knew her as Mama Mert and will miss her dearly. She was born on Sept. 15, 1937 in Lockhart.She was the oldest of four children born to Colesia Bell Shannon and Eddie Jones of Lockhart. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Te'Andre Clay.
