He was formerly at the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong and has worked for many years in language education and language teacher education. His research and publications focus on teacher identity formation and critical and digital literacies in language education. His recent book, Language Teacher Identities: Co-constructing Discourse and Community, was published by Multilingual Matters.
