Vice-President Strategy, Performance Measures and Communications, Leanne Kitchen Clarke
Leanne has worked in both the non-profit and private sectors.She spent eight years at GlaxoSmithKline, most recently as Director, Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Relations.At GSK, she developed a national stakeholder framework working with a variety of patient groups, coalitions, and charitable and non-profit organizations.She also led the strategy for The GlaxoSmithKline Foundation in Canada.Leanne launched an innovative chronic disease management initiative in Ontario in asthma, COPD and diabetes.In partnership with several hospitals across the province, healthcare professionals, and the broader community, she created a strategic plan and implemented a working model for disease management with a patient-centred approach.
Formerly, Leanne held various positions during her seven years in the non-profit sector including the United Way, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and Junior Achievement.Prior to this, she had accountability for performance measurement with a pension fund manager.She has a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Western Ontario.
