Ms. Layla Clarke

Guest speaker at the AGM was Adelaide University political science student Ms Layla Clarke who is writing a political history of the labour movement in Gawler.

The Gawler branch celebrates is centenary in 2008 and it hoped to publish the study as part of the centenary celebrations.

Ms Clarke is keen to hear from people in Gawler who may have some documents or artefacts that provide a link to the town's labour movement history.
