   which were spent at senior management levels culminating in a Chief Officer post, which she held until deciding upon a career break to bring up her young family.

   From 1 December Mr Roger Stokoe and Mrs Alison Clarke will join the L&D NHS Trust Board.

   Alison Clarke, lives in Dunstable and has a background in local government working at an Executive level in City of Westminster and London Borough of Barnet for ten years until she took a career break to have a family. Mrs Clarke, said, "I will be working with other Board members to ensure that we are putting patients' needs as high as the performance targets set by Government."
   
   The L&D's Chairman, Dr Soraya Dhillon commented, "I am delighted at the appointment of Mr Stokoe and Mrs Clarke whose combined expertise will broaden the skills of the board.
