   Alex M. (Kelly) Clarke is a member and chair of the firm's Health Care Section. He concentrates on regulatory and transactional work, corporate compliance issues (reimbursement, fraud and abuse, Stark, tax exemption, corporate practice issues, etc.), physician contracts, governance, medical staff and allied health professional issues.
   
   Mr. Clarke is a former member of the Board of Directors (1985-1993) and Past President (1991-1992) of the American Academy of Healthcare Attorneys, which is now the American Health Lawyers Association. He also served on the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association's Health Law Forum (1985-1990) and on the Legal Services Committee of Catholic Health Association (1984-1987). He is licensed in Nebraska and Iowa and a member of the Nebraska, Iowa, Omaha and American Bar Associations, the Iowa Society of Healthcare Attorneys and the American Health Lawyers Association.
   
   Mr. Clarke is a frequent lecturer on health care issues. He has spoken before many national and regional groups including the American Health Lawyers Association, the Health Law Section and the Healthcare Committee of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association, the American Hospital Association and numerous state hospital associations and regional groups.

   Alex M. (Kelly) Clarke is chair of the Health Law Section at Baird Holm LLP. He is licensed in Nebraska and Iowa. He served on the Board of Directors and is a Past President of the American Health Lawyers Association. He also served on the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association's Health Law Forum and on the Legal Services Committee of Catholic Health Association. He is a member of the Iowa Society of Healthcare Attorneys, the Iowa chapter of HFMA, and the American Health Lawyers Association.
