Wendy reflects on the use of a digital blue camera with a child with Asperger's Syndrome to see if it improved his ability to communicate his feelings. She describes how the child was able to express himself in a way that he had previously been unable to do.

In the video diary the child was able to express his feelings in a clear way that Wendy felt he would have been unable to do previously. Wendy decided to produce a diary of events/newsletter for her school, which on the advice of her ICT Test Bed manager became an online production, as well as an offline one. A year after the first newsletter was produced, Wendy evaluated its success, the findings of which constitute her report. She found that staff like the hard copy of the newsletter, but also appreciate the 'click here' to external news items/reports facility of the electronic version. She feels that some staff have been encouraged to use the internet and email more as a by-product of the electronic newsletter.
