Wayne Clark is starting his fourth year as Assistant Director of Bands in the Hamilton ISD. Originally from Oklahoma, has been a member of the Guthrie High School BlueJay Band, the Oklahoma Territorial Brass Band, and the "Pride of Oklahoma" OU Marching Band. Clark received his Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music degrees from the University of Oklahoma, where he recently received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Trombone. A finalist in the 1991 Leonard Falcone International Euphonium Competition, Clark is currently, in addition to teaching band and yearbook at Hamilton, a part-time adjunct tuba instructor for Howard Payne University.
Dr. Clark and Mr. Edins currently maintain a web site listing Vivace repertoire on the Texas U.I.L. Prescribed Music List, as well as tips for use with small schools.
