   Victor has been working at UCL since December 2001. As Student Tutor and Mentor Officer he has five broad areas of responsibility:
   
   1. Schools. Working to maintain existing links with schools and to establish links with new schools, in order to give them the opportunity to participate in programmes with UCL. These programmes include the UCL mentoring and tutoring programmes. He also arranges school visits to UCL, and is happy to visit schools in person to explain the nature the programmes.
   
   2. Students. Recruiting and training UCL students to take part in our mentoring and tutoring programmes. Victor provides these students with support in their work on these schemes.
   
   3. Administration. Administering the above schemes and providing support to schools involved in the Widening Participation schemes.
   
   4.Liaising with other HE institutions through focus on higher education
   
   5. Victor also assists other members of the UCL Widening Participation unit with their work.
