   Timothy W. I. Clark, MD, FSIR, is Associate Professor of Radiology at New York University School of Medicine.After completing his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania in 1998, he joined the Department of Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.In 2005, Dr. Clark left the University of Pennsylvania to assume Directorship of the Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at New York University Medical Center.Dr. Clark is also the Program Director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program and the Co-Director of the NYU Fibroid Center.
   
   Dr. Clark has published more than 80 scholarly articles, editorials, and book chapters in interventional radiology and lectures nationally and internationally on related topics.Dr. Clark serves as a reviewer for multiple peer-reviewed journals, and serves on multiple national committees for the Society of Interventional Radiology.
   
   Dr. Clark's clinical research areas of expertise include minimally invasive techniques for liver and kidney cancer, stenting of narrowed kidney arteries, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts for portal hypertension from liver disease, treatments to extend the function of hemodialysis grafts, uterine fibroid embolization, peripheral arterial and vascular interventions including stenting and atherectomy, and management of complex biliary strictures and stone disease.He leads and participates in multiple clinical research trials in these and other related areas.
