   Dr. Thomas R. Clark is the President and Executive Director of Alpha Psychological Services, P.C. in Livonia and formerly Director of Mental Health at the Marion Manor Medical Center. Before that he was Chief Psychologist at Heritage Hospital and Mental Health Consultant to the Peoples Community Hospital Authority (PCHA), which is now part of the Oakwood Hospital System. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Psychology, a Fellow of the Academy of Family Psychology and a Charter Fellow of the American College of Psychology.
   
   Dr. Clark has served in various capacities as a consultant to dozens of police and fire departments with services ranging from cadet/officer hiring and command promotion to seminars on stress management, post-incident trauma, and recognition of the problem police officer/ fire-fighter. He also has been an invited featured speaker at numerous law enforcement meetings and schools - ranging from such diverse groups as the Michigan State Police and FBI National Alumni to local groups representing the Fraternal Order of Police and Police Officers Association of Michigan. he continues to serve on the faculty of the Wayne County Regional Police Academy and the Schoolcraft Fire Academy.
   
   Dr. Clark has traveled widely both nationally and internationally presenting research in the areas of human sexuality, stress management, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), substance abuse-alcoholism-chemical dependency, and law enforcement/ fire science mental health issues at numerous meetings and conventions and has published papers in noted psychological and psychiatric journals. He has made several radio/television appearances to discuss his professional experience in these foregoing areas. In addition, he serves on the National Board of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS).
