   Whatcom Lodge educator of the quarter: This quarter's educator is described by Steve Clark, principle of Bellingham High, this way. " She has a unique ability to help students to an amazing level of talent. Her heart for music, dedication to students and her talent continually produces music students who receive some of the highest honors across the state." One of her students told us "she is an excellent teacher and a wonderful person, who is always willing to help students with anything and at any time." Our educator, has been at her craft for over 20 years. She is a graduate of BHS, continued her education receiving a BS degree and then a Masters in Music from Western Washington University. When you hear about the schedule this teacher keeps, it is down right humbling. She has groups of students meeting almost daily at 6:30AM and she often extends her days with other students, sometimes until 8:30PM. Additionally she is a very committed member of the Bellingham Alumni Band, including as the band's director.
