Steve Clark is a School Safety Specialist who joined the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services seven years ago.Prior to joining the Virginia Center for School Safety, he served for 13 years as a police officer in Lynchburg, Virginia and Toronto, Ontario.Three years of his police service were spent as a Middle School Resource Officer.

Steve is a youth safety specialist assigned to the Virginia Center for School Safety.He is an experienced police officer and a former School Resource Officer who develops and coordinates training on school safety related issues for SRO's and school personnel.He provides technical assistance and support for SRO programs and school safety initiatives throughout the state.
