On August 26th at National Dog Day in Malibu California, Stacy Clark, a performer in the FidoPalooza Concert, opened her heart and home to one of our adoptees from a Los Angeles shelter and named him "Ollie". Sadly, after his homecoming, the very next day Ollie became gravely ill. Not only did he have a bacterial infection of his neutering site but when antibiotics only cured the skin infection and didn't seem to make him feel better, she took him back to the vet to find that he had pneumonia.

Stacy is an up and coming singer, recently guest appearing on MTV and with a bright future ahead - but she is a struggling artist when it comes to finances. She currently works two jobs to help support her career thus far and was unprepared for a $1600 vet bill within the first week he came to live with her.

Stacy reached out to help a little soul in need and now she needs our help to recoup the tremendous, unexpected expense associated with Ollie's medical care - which hasn't completely ended ... although he is expected to make a full recovery.

Stacy Clark has been writing poetry since age seven. At age fifteen, she bought her first acoustic guitar and began teaching herself. In 1998, she enrolled in the internship program at Grand Island High School. After requesting to work in the record industry, she was placed at Atomic Gardens Recording Studio. She recorded her first album, Movement, at that studio. Her first live performance was an open mic at Stimulance Coffeehouse in Buffalo, followed the same night by a performance at an open mic at Nietzsches. She met Buffalo folk legend Michael Meldrum at the second open mic performance, and through him she learned more about working within the music industry as an independent musician.

While critics sum up Stacy Clark's music as poignant and pleasing, the singer/song writer/guitar maven simply calls her songs heartfelt and honest. Traveling back and forth from her home outside of snowy Buffalo, N.Y., to her studio outside the warm beaches of Orange County, California, Stacy has journeyed within herself and around the country to discover what it means to have passion and how music can be transforming.

After moving to Orange County, California in 2004, Stacy started working with Loren Israel and created the EP Unusual.
