   About a dozen spectators stuck around to ask questions for another half-hour, says Stacey Clark, a tack sales specialist at Bleyhl.
   
   Clark says most horses in the Yakima Valley are quarter horses, bred for ranch work, roping and rodeo events.
   
   In 2002, Yakima County was home to about 5,600 horses on farms, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. However, that figure does not include horses dwelling on places other than farms.
