   Ryan Clark founded College Knowledge to give the student-athlete the resources they need to be able to make the best decisions when it come to their athletic and academic futures.
   
   Having been through the process twice - once coming out of high school and going to Idaho State University, and then again when transferring after his freshman year to the University of Illinois - he learned what tactics were the most successful. Ryan then graduated with a Bachelor of Communications, specializing in Marketing and Public Relations. While at the University of Illinois, Ryan served on the NCAA Student Athletic Advisory Board which helped bring in new NCAA and institutional guidelines, arrange student-athlete activities and events, and help ease the transition for incoming freshman.
   
   "Over the years of being in collegiate and professional athletics I have seen many student-athletes not able to take full-advantage of the great opportunity that college life is. Everything from going to the wrong type of school, not organizing their time wisely, sending in applications late, ineffective communication with the coaches, to just not knowing the correct way to start along the college athletic scholarship path. Our goal is to help our athletes use their athletics to maximize their opportunities in academics as they move toward their chosen career paths."
   
   From an athletics standpoint, Ryan competed on the ATP tennis tour, playing professionally around the world on each continent following graduation and a successful collegiate career at the University of Illinois.
