   Ruth Clark President of qrc.Inc in Edmonds, Ruth Harrell Clark finds satisfaction in seeing her clients' businesses succeed.
   
   "Making the workplace better, helping businesses grow and be productive," that's what Clark said she enjoys, along with the wide variety of businesses she serves with her employee assessment programs.
   
   "I've done Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessments for years, for improving communications and team building," she said. "But a few years ago, some of my clients wanted me to help them analyze new employees or ones being promoted or teamed with others. I began offering programs developed by Profiles International, ones designed to improve the selection of people for critical job functions."
   
   She created her own company five years ago to provide those unique profile assessments for business, moving her company to Edmonds in 1997.
   
   Helping companies to be more successful has made qrc.Inc successful, too.

   Clark, who has more than 25 years of experience in administration, consulting, training, public speaking and management, has had roles with Wellspring Consulting, Carolina Power & Light Co. and Weyerhaeuser.
   
   She also is president of Edmonds in Bloom, chairman of Friends of the Cascade Symphony Orchestra and a member of the South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce's Business Development Committee.
