   Ron Clark is a partner with Aird & Berlis LLP and a member of the firm's Corporate/Commercial and Energy Groups.Ron's energy practice has involved advising distributors, retailers, lenders, generators and service providers on corporate and commercial arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and legislative and policy matters relating to electricity markets.Ron has advised on generation and cogeneration projects, including project development, power purchase arrangements, designing and responding to RFPs, corporate structures, regulatory aspects and connection arrangements.He has previously been involved in electricity restructuring in Albania, Macedonia and the Regional Southeast European market.He also chaired the Ontario Electricity Association Task Force on Ontario's proposed electricity legislation.Ron is the author of numerous articles which have appeared in publications such as The Globe and Mail, Municipal World, and Electricity Today.He appears regularly on television and at industry conferences to speak on energy matters.Ron received his Bachelor of Laws from Osoode Hall Law School and his Master of Laws from New York University.He is called to the New York and Ontario bars.
