   Ron Clark, Akron Ron Clark is the Vice President of Environmental Design Group of Akron, a prominent local environmental engineering, landscaping, architecture, and surveying company. His company is known for their work on the Towpath Trail and the Ohio & Erie Canal Corridor. Ron's specialty is soil and groundwater studies. He played a prominent role in the AES campus in Akron and won the first national Phoenix Award for industrial property recycling. Ron and his wife, Jennifer, live in west Akron with their two sons, and have a daughter who lives in Lakewood, Ohio. Ron brings to the Board extensive knowledge of local land issues and experience in the revitalization of the industrial landscapes and the creation of green space in our region.

   Ron is currently vice president of Environmental Design Group, a prominent local environmental engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying company known for its work on the Towpath Trail along the Ohio & Erie Canal Corridor.
   
   Ron's specialty is soil and groundwater studies. Much of his time these days is devoted to so-called "brownfield" (old industrial site) reclamations. He played a prominent role in the development of the AES campus in south Akron, a job that won the first national Phoenix Award for industrial property recycling.
   
   A civil engineering graduate of The University of Akron, Ron has also worked for the Ohio EPA and the B.F. Goodrich Company, where he was manager of environmental engineering.
   
   Ron and his wife Jennifer live in West Akron.
