   Rich Clark Rich Clark is the founder and owner of Clark Farms, a retail and wholesale nursery with three locations in Southern Rhode Island.His interest in growing plants began when he started his first retail vegetable farm in the fourth grade.He opened and maintained his first farm stand when he was in the eighth grade and maintained this business through college.He is the past- president of the Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association and serves on the Boards of Directors for the New England Nursery Association, Clark Memorial Library, and the Master Gardener Foundation of Rhode Island.He was honored as the Young Nursery Professional of the Year for RI in 2002, named as an Honorary Lifetime Master Gardener in 2004 and received the RINLA Award of Merit 2005.He holds a B.S. in Agriculture from Cornell University, and has served as an instructor in the Department of Horticulture at the University of Rhode Island.He lives with his wife, Sue, in Southern Rhode Island.
