The Fort Worth Magicians' Club was organized on September 6, 1940 at the home of Ren Clark, where several magic enthusiasts in the area met to share their love for magic. The following year the International Brotherhood of Magicians (I.B.M.) granted The Fort Worth Magicians' Club a charter, uniting it with this international organization. The Fort Worth Magicians' Club became the fifteenth "Ring" in the link of magic clubs around the world. In 1958 The Fort Worth Magicians' Club officially became known as the "Ren Clark I.B.M. Ring 15, The Fort Worth Magicians' Club."
Ren Clark served as President of the I.B.M. in 1947. That same year, Mr. Clark also conceived of and helped organize the Texas Association of Magicians (T.A.O.M.) The first annual T.A.O.M. convention was held in Fort Worth in 1947.
Today, the club boasts of nearly one-hundred magicians, including professional magicians, two formal I.B.M. International Presidents, the I.B.M.
