   Reggie is a tax and business law practitioner, with particular experience in corporate taxation and in planning corporate acquisitions, restructurings and other transactions.Reggie's practice includes advising a number of cooperative organizations, both tax-exempt and taxable.He also regularly advises university endowment funds on legal issues associated with their investment activities.His experience includes handling tax controversies and representing clients before the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service in connection with requests for rulings or technical advice.
   
   Reggie is a former Adjunct Professor of Law in the Emory University School of Law's Graduate Tax Program.He is a former Chair of the Corporate Tax Committee of the American Bar Association's Tax Section, and he has spoken at a number of seminars and bar programs.He is a former member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia State Bar Journal and served on a state bar task force that drafted legislation authorizing the formation of limited liability companies in Georgia.He is a member of the American Law Institute and the American College of Tax Counsel and is a trustee of the Southern Federal Tax Institute and Georgia Federal Tax Conference.
   
   Reggie is recognized in Chambers USA America's Leading Business Lawyers (2003-2007), in Atlanta magazine as a 2007 Georgia Super Lawyer in the area of Tax and as one of The Best Lawyers in America (2007).
