Tom and Mary Clark are very pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachael Clark '97, to Edmond Bowers, son of Roger and Patricia Ann Bowers of Bensalem, Pa.

Rachael is a 1997 graduate of St. Bernard High School, a 2001 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a 2003 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in social work.She is currently working as a clinician at the Metropolitan Treatment Center for youthful offenders in Boston.

Ed is a 1997 graduate of Father Judge High School in Northeast Philadelphia, a 2001 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and a 2003 graduate of the University of Notre Dame's Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) master of education program.He is currently working toward his doctorate in applied developmental and educational psychology at Boston College.

An October 2007 wedding in New London is being planned.
