Peter Clark is an associate in Dickinson Dees' Corporate Department and although specialising in private equity work, he has a particular interest in sports law issues and is the head of the sector team coordinating the firm's sports lawyers.Peter used to take the kicks for Newcastle Falcons until Rob Andrew took over and kicked him into touch.

Peter specialises in corporate transactional work including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, shareholders agreements and company start-ups.

Peter has over 12 years' specialist experience in private equity work.He has advised NVM Private Equity Limited on over 80 separate nationwide private equity investments.Peter has also acted for other venture capitalists and major banks involved in private equity investments, development capital and management buyout transactions.

Peter has also advised both the public and private sectors on PFI transactional work.

He is head of the firm's Sports Law Team.

Peter is an Associate in our Company and Commercial Department with a particular interest in sports law issues.He co-ordinates the team of lawyers that undertake Sports Law work within the firm as head of that sector team within Commercial Services.He is a member of the British Association for Sport and Law and the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association.

Having played first class rugby and minor county cricket for a number of years, Peter is well placed to understand the issues facing modern players and their clubs.
