Paul has over 23 years experience in the home selling and buying marketplace. He initially trained as a lawyer, progressing to developing and managing conveyancing departments in varied North East firms, before taking up the challenge of developing a conveyancing proposition for one of the largest UK Estate Agency groups. This involved managing 12 of the UK's largest conveyancing organisations to integrate the conveyancing service into the estate agency network processes.
Moving to Hammondsdirect in 2004, Paul has assisted in developing new client relationships whilst keeping an eye on the gathering pace of the Home Information Pack legislation and development. Paul's current role as HIP Development Manager has catapulted him to centre stage in this fast growing marketplace, drawing on his experience and expertise, to ensure that Hammondsdirect will continue to grow its service offering; justifying and enhancing its status as a major stakeholder in the market.
Paul has been a member of PISCES (Property Information Systems Common Exchange Standard), since the inception of the Residential Working Croup in 2002, and has Vice-Chaired both the Lender-Conveyancer Working Group and the HIP Working Group; the latter making phenomenal progress to produce Schemas on schedule. -
