   Kevin Joughin, Lesley Deanshaw, Julie Dorey, Dave Griffiths, Peter Doherty, Allan Moore & Ollie Clark were all Presented with life membership of the SA Band Association.

   Ollie is a Life Member of both the Preston and K&N Bands and has served as Secretary of both. He is currently the President of the K&N Band. After having served the brass band apprenticeship of playing Cornet, Tenor Horn, Baritone, Trombone and Euphonium, Ollie settled on BBb bass for a number of reasons, among them the opportunity to play Tuba in jazz bands. He received an AM in the 2004 Queen's Birthday Honours list for service to the gas industry and for service to education and community organizations.

   On more serious note, K & N President Ollie Clark in the evenings opening speech, spoke at length of the contribution, that bands such as K & N were making in the supply of musical talent to the professional Musical scene He cited that most of today's ASO Brass section, started their musical life in bands such as K & N. Ollie reflected on the year, and in particular the creditable performance at this years National competition.

   Ollie Clark is the 2006 President of the Club and this years concert concluded a busy Rotary year for him. Ollie is President of K & N Brass. Bruce Raymond - Musical Director and Ollie Clark are long time members of the Rotary Club of Adelaide.
