Nina Clark
...
Nina, born in New England to an American father and Swedish mother, has maintained a close connection to Sweden with visits to her many relatives. Musically, Nina has been active in many choral groups. For two years she was the assistant director of the Sancta Lucia chorus at the American Swedish Institute. Nina works with educational programs at the American Swedish Institute. Malla, raised in Stockholm, left Sweden in 1994 to marry the love of her life. Malla plays the flute and before bringing her talents to the U.S., sang and danced in the Swedish folk tradition for many years. She also brought her passion for Swedish handicrafts, incl. knitting, spinning, weaving, sewing, etc. which she happily shares with anyone interested. In addition to raising her son, Malla works as a homeopath and likes growing healthy foods in her garden.
