   Meredeth Clark is the Chief Executive Officer of CAN Insurance Services and co-founder of the California Association of Nonprofits (CAN), one of the largest statewide association of tax-exempt nonprofits in the country.CAN Insurance Services, a subsidiary of CAN, provides employee benefit insurances exclusively for nonprofit organizations in California.Prior to her employment at CAN, Ms. Clark was the chief administrator of a large, multi-service nonprofit.Her responsibilities there included risk management and the purchase and coordination of the agency's many insurance policies.Through her involvement with CAN, Ms. Clark watched the early development of NIAC and has served on its board since 1991.Ms. Clark also sits on the Advisory Committee for the Unemployment Services Trust, which provides unemployment insurance for 501(c)(3)nonprofit agencies.
