   Mercerdese Clark, Board Director, an Orlando native, obtained her BS in Nursing ED from Hampton University in Virginia and her Master's in Community Health Administration from the University of Maryland. She holds the distinction of being the first African American to serve as Nursing Director of a County Health Department in the State of Florida (Orange). During her professional career she has also served on the nursing staffs at Orange Memorial Hospital and Winter Park Memorial Hospital. Active with numerous community groups and the recipient of many awards, she is a member of the Jones High School Hall of Fame.
