   Melissa moved to London at the beginning of 2001 and following her admission to the Supreme Court of England she was employed as an in-house solicitor by one of the largest telecommunications companies in the United Kingdom. Following the expiry of her contract, Melissa was employed by that company's external legal advisors, who are a large international law firm based in the City of London. She worked for two years at that firm within its commercial property department, acting for both investors and occupiers of commercial property.
   
   Practice Notes Melissa returned to our Christchurch office at the beginning of 2005, to be the partner in charge of Property and Personal Client Services. Her main areas of expertise centre around asset planning, conveyancing and commercial property. She has a broad knowledge of all matters relating to property law.
   
   Other Melissa is a Member of both Business Networking International and the Institute of Directors (Canterbury Branch) and is a Qualified Trust Account Partner. She was also a Council Member of the Otago District Law Society from 1998 to 2000.
