Lake Forest East Elementary School Principal Martha Clark, who helped organize the outdoor activities, said help has been easy to come by for the event.
"People are volunteering left and right," she said.

The day of fun will include ice shows, hockey shoot outs and demonstrations by former Harlem Globetrotter Derek "the Wiz" Murphy and local gymnasts.A bike rodeo, go kart, hayride, obstacle course and children's games will be set up in the Central Office parking lot to keep kids busy.And if students want to take a hit at their favorite Lake Forest personality, Jeremy Robinson, Jim Cave, Jason Cameron, Curry and Clark all will be taking to the dunk tank. -
