    Margaret Clark Wetherill ClarkMargie Wetherill Clark was born in Washington, DC and graduated from St. Mary's Female Seminary.Mrs. Clark attended the Institute Minerva, Zurich, Switzerland and George Washington University.She was a member of the Pi Beta Sorority.She was married to Jay Clark IV Dec. 28, 1953, in St. Alban's Church, Washington, DC.She was the founder and president of Landmark Real Estate in St. Petersburg, Fla., and later went on to help start Pure Country Weavers in Tryon.Mrs. Clark was very active in the Junior League of Washington, DC and St. Petersburg, Fla.Margie was an avid reader and world traveler.She and her husband traveled to six continents in their 48 years together.

    In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial gifts in the name of Margie Clark Memorial to St. Mary's College Alumni Association of Maryland, St. Mary's City, Md. 20686-9990.

    Margie is survived by her husband, Jay Clark IV; sisters, Elizabeth McMeel and Georgann Wetherill; three children, Jay Clark V, Ida-Hays Clark and George W. Clark; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

    Memorial services will be held at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Tryon, Thursday, May 30, 2002, at 7 p.m. Burial services will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church in White Oak Maryland on Saturday June 8, at 5 p.m..Receptions will follow both services.
