Margaret was a loving, nurturing, hardworking "farmer's" wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She also loved to hunt and was a crack shot. She was understandably proud of the successful hunt she had with her one and only moose permit. She was just as good at making mouthwatering, buttercream-dripping cinnamon rolls.

Her home was open to all and lived up tot he sign above the refrigerator that read: "Eat at Marge's." Some summers she had more than 10 grandchildren and their friends romping and running over the Swan Valley ranch she loved so much. She also kept the hummingbirds well-fed.

Margaret was a lifelong, devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church. In 1992, she donated the land that is now the site of Our Lady of the Swan Catholic Church, near Condon.

Margaret will be interred beside her beloved husband at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell. A memorial service will be held at Risen Christ Parish, 65 West Evergreen Drive, Kalispell, on Thursday at 1 p.m.

Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Risen Christ Parish Religious Formation Endowment.
