Leigh Clark Academic Program Specialist
Leigh's educational background includes a BA in Psychology from the University of MO followed by supplementation and graduate work in chemistry, physiology and cell biology at Florida State University. She completed her MS from the University of Florida with an emphasis in Forensic Toxicology in 2002 and is currently pursuing a second MS in Criminal Justice Studies.
As an Instructional Specialist, Leigh comes to us having spent several years in communications with the City of Tallahassee Police Department, as an adjunct laboratory instructor in research methods at UMSL, in the biological sciences at FSU, and in anatomy and physiology at the Tallahassee Community College. She also previously worked as a forensic technologist in the DNA section of FDLE,s Jacksonville Crime Laboratory where she was certified in trace evidence collection and serology and supported DNA analysis.
With a passion for science, education and the law, Leigh participates in development, coordination and presentation of our myriad training and competency projects. -
