The programs concluded with a lecture on deaf senior citizens and a program given by Lee Clark, a deaf/blind specialist from Charlotte with the Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.Clark´s program gave information on services available for deaf/blind residents and how to apply for those benefits.
Clark grew up in North Carolina and went on to graduate from Gallaudet University.He and his wife, Sharon, have three children, one who is deaf and visually impaired, a second child who is deaf and has Usher´s Syndrome, and the third child is also deaf.
