   I believe that all pharmacists have the professional responsibility to support the profession. In my opinion , as a health-system pharmacist , that should at least consist of membership in the state pharmacists association ( CPhA ) and the state society of heath-system pharmacists ( CSHP ). Although CPhA has been viewed as primarily representing independent pharmacists , they have made significant changed in their organizational structure in the last year. These changes included an emphasis on representing the whole profession and restructuring of their Board of Directors to reflect the change in philosophy. This change will be very positive for the pharmacy profession and warrants reconsideration of your membership as a health-system pharmacist , in the CPhA..
