   Assistant Professor of English as a Second Language ( ESL ) , Tenure Track The English as a Second Language ( ESL ) Institute seeks a highly motivated candidate with a specialization in Computer-Assisted Language Learning ( CALL ) to teach a full complement of courses in ESL and assist the newly created ESL Institute in the integration of technology instruction Innovative and knowledgeable individuals with demonstrated experience in instructional technology , distance learning , and entrepreneurial approaches to courseand program development are encouraged to apply.
   
   Qualifications : Masters Degree in TESOL , Applied Linguistics , or related field and a minimum of three years teaching experience in higher education required. Experience with current technologies , familiarity with state-of-the-art CALL software , demonstrated ability in technology-based curriculum development , and evidence of interest in distance learning and other innovations preferred.
   
   Responsibilities : Teach credit and non-credit ESL courses , provide instructional design assistance and information technology support to ESL Institute faculty , practice and promote the integration of technology in ESL instruction , assisting the development of new courses with CALL components , plan and design appropriate activities for the ESL Computer Lab ( pending funding approval ) , and assist the ESL Institute Leadership Team in other initiatives , including administrative duties and other activities related to its mission to provide instruction and services for all ESL students in the college community.
