Most of us have heard the term "community of practice," but probably have little idea how such a community comes into being.
Dr. Kevin Clark, professor of instructional technology at George Mason, teaches in a one-year intensive master's program in instructional technology.During this past year, he and his students carried out an instructional design project for an actual client, the WIN-WIN Strategies Foundation.Dr Clark, accompanied by several of his students, presented their approach to designing an online community of practice for the client.
