   Katie Clark
   
   For approximately the past 20 years The Scripps Home has been blessed with the hard work and devotion of Katie Clark. Currenently she is serving as the President of the Auxiliary, a post she has held for seven years. She plans to retire as madam President at the end of this year. She has already served as president, treasurer, and vice president. She says that what she will miss the most is being on the hardworking Board and being part of what the Auxiliary can do to help the residents. She says the most rewarding thing about being on the Board was learning about the residents rich backgrounds. Katie first heard about The Scripps Home through friends of hers, Betty Clark (no relation) and Barbara Spear.

   Katie was married for 40 years and her husband died in 1992.
   
   Katie enjoys volunteering and has worked for the Pasadena Symphony, the DAR, and the Town Club. She especially enjoys the friends she has made through the Auxiliary, the bridge benefit, the Home's, Founder's Day, and Valentine's Teas. She is always glad when they are over for the year then on to planning next years events. We will miss her hard work and devotion; she has been a very good friend to The Scripps Home.
