   Las Vegas, NV - 7/15/2002 - Walters Golf announced the appointment of Kathy Clark as Director of Catering for the company.The premier Walters Golf properties, Cili Restaurant and Bali Hai Golf Club, will allow her to showcase her talents.
   
   Growing up in Waterloo, Iowa, Kathy developed a genuine commitment to being true to her word and delivering on what she promises.These mid-west values are still with her today.It is that commitment to her clients that sets Kathy apart and results in repeat business from the most demanding of event organizers and hostesses.
   
   Kathy attended Iowa State University where she studied Hotel Management.In her junior year, she transferred to one of the best Hotel Management programs in the country at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned a degree in Hotel Administration.While attending UNLV, she worked with most of the local hotels at a Las Vegas wholesale room supplier.
   
   After almost nine years in the wholesale business, Kathy moved to the hotel side with the Orleans Hotel and Casino.A year later she moved to the Tropicana Resort and Casino as Assistant Director of Sales where she focused on large groups and the tradeshow market.
   
   Her experience with tradeshows led her to ConvExx, a tradeshow management company, where she worked with many national and local companies including SEMA and the Las Vegas BikeFest.
   
   Kathy serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and is President Elect for the Las Vegas Hospitality Association.Kathy is an avid golfer and also has a passion for playing television game shows, which led her family to be selected as contestants on the Family Feud, where according to Kathy, they did very well, but not well enough to retire.
