   After graduating from Arab High School, Dr. Clark received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with high honors from Jacksonville State University. He earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where he was nominated Outstanding Student in Surgery and Outstanding Student in Medicine. Upon completing his internship at Birmingham's Carraway Methodist Medical Center, he spent a rotating internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Clark stayed there for his residency and then traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, for a hand fellowship at the Christine Kleinert Hand Center.
   
   Dr. Clark has been practicing orthopaedic surgery in Huntsville for 10 years and has a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery. A member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Alabama Orthopaedic Society, the Alamo Orthopaedic Society, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Madison County Medical Society, the Southern Medical Association and the Southern Orthopaedic Association, he is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
