Monday, December 22, 2003 -- ( SOUTH HADLEY ) Joseph H. Clark Jr., 70, of 63 Mountain View St., died Dec. 21 in the Holyoke Medical Center.

Born May 14, 1933, in Milton, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Elizabeth (Steinbert) Clark Sr.

He received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from MIT in 1954.

Most recently, he had been a consultant for the Holyoke Gas and Electric company.Earlier, he had worked as an engineer for Holyoke Water Power for 35 years.
