The show opened with AWF Owner Joe Clark & AWF Commissioner Grant Sorrell coming to the ring to announce that during the course of the evening they would conduct a tournament to fill the vacated AWF Championship.Clark announced they were going to draw names from a hat for the tournament.The names were drawn and matches set.

Just as the guys cleared the ring to begin the show a voice blurs out over the P.A. System threatening AWF Owner Joe Clark.He informs Joe that he was "The Ghost from the Past" and was there to get revenge on Joe for discarding him four years prior.Joe starts looking in the rafters, under the ring and everywhere he could think of to find the person behind the voice.He finds no one.He then instructs security to make sure no one gets to him at anytime during the night.

Finally Joe regains his composure and the action gets underway.

Jesse chases Joe around ringside again issuing his threats.He then informs Joe that he since he is back, he has decided he is going to manage during the night and proceeds to introduce his new protege....J.R. Roc!
