   A bit about Jill: Before joining Shaftesbury in 2003, I worked for Lambeth Social Services as a social worker with older people.

   On the 1st May we welcome Jill Clarke who is joining our team as Community Work Manager. You may remember that we advertised for this post last year but could not appoint. Jill is from Michigan, USA, and her background is in social work. She has been in England for over two years and has been working as a social work manager for Lambeth and Richmond social services. She has also been involved in community work with the Besom Trust, a south London based Christian organisation. Jill will bring good experience of professional staff support and development and she is very enthusiastic about working for a Christian organisation. She will be based at London Regional Office and will be working closely with Sarah Packwood, the Community Initiatives Manager for London. Initially, Jill will manage our new projects in Paddington and Silvertown, East London whilst also taking on some of the projects that Jon has been working with.
