Jessica Clark
...
Jessica ClarkAs the daughter of a US National Park Service employee, Jessica's childhood was spent in such varied locales as Kansas, the American Southwest, and the US Virgin Islands before settling in Anchorage, Alaska where she benefited from the strong science program in the local schools.Jessica received her BS, MS, and PhD in physics from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Her research involved using muons (the electron's bigger brother) to probe the internal structure of protons.Armed with her PhD and her naturally caffeinated exuberance, Jessica is now determined to introduce everyone to the excitement of physics.Creating PhysicsCentral was her first task when she began working for APS in 2000. -
