Jeff M. Clark

Jeff M. Clark, 31, 5755 New Columbus Road, Anderson, was arrested Tuesday on three class A felony child molesting charges.

Charges were filed in Madison Circuit Court.Each felony count carries a possible penalty of 20 to 50 years and a possible $10,000 fine.

The girl told her mother while shopping that Clark had molested her, police say.

The child's mother then contacted the Madison County Police Department.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Clark denied some incidents, but admitted others.

Clark told MCPD Detective David Callahan that the sexual encounters took place while he was viewing pornographic material on his computer.

Clark requested that a public defender be appointed.Clark indicated that he was not employed and is a student at Anderson University.AU records show Clark is a part-time student.
